Adgestone Campsite

 1 Booking Conditions

  1. Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing by management.
  2. The lead booker must be aged 18 years or over.
  3. Valid photographic identification is required for all bookings.
  4. Acceptable forms of identification include:
    • Passport
    • Driving Licence
    • Government-issued Photo Identification
  5. Management reserves the right to request identification at any time during a guest's stay.
  6. Failure to provide satisfactory identification may result in refusal of entry or immediate removal from the park without refund.
  7. Vehicle registration details must be supplied for all vehicles entering the park.
  8. All bookings are non-transferable unless authorised in writing by management.
  9. Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its absolute discretion.
  10. No refunds will be given for poor weather, early departure, personal circumstances or breaches of park rules.

2 Occupancy

  1. A maximum of six (6) persons are permitted per pitch unless expressly agreed in writing by management.
  2. Unauthorised occupants may be required to leave immediately.
  3. The lead booker remains responsible for the conduct and actions of all members of their party and visitors.

3 Pitch rules

  1. Guests must occupy only the pitch allocated by management. Changing pitches without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
  2. Only one accommodation unit is permitted per pitch, being either one tent, one touring caravan, or one motorhome. No additional accommodation units are permitted unless authorised in writing by management.
  3. A maximum of one motor vehicle is permitted per pitch. Any additional vehicles must be declared at the time of booking and parked only in designated visitor or overflow parking areas, subject to availability and additional charges where applicable.
  4. Only one awning may be erected per pitch where space permits and with management approval. Gazebos, utility tents, pup tents, shelters or any other temporary structures must be declared at the time of booking and may only be erected with prior permission.
  5. All units, vehicles, awnings and accessories must be positioned exactly as directed by management to maintain required fire safety distances and emergency access routes.
  6. A minimum fire separation distance between all units must be maintained at all times. Guests must not alter the positioning of any unit once sited.
  7. The maximum occupancy of any pitch is six persons, unless otherwise agreed in writing by management.
  8. Guests must keep all equipment, vehicles and personal belongings entirely within the boundaries of their allocated pitch. Encroachment onto neighbouring pitches, roads or communal areas is not permitted.
  9. Management reserves the right to inspect any pitch to ensure compliance with park rules and safety regulations.
  10. Management reserves the absolute right to require the removal of any unauthorised vehicle, tent, gazebo, structure or equipment and may relocate guests where necessary for operational, maintenance or safety reasons.
  11. Failure to comply with these Pitch Rules may result in additional charges, cancellation of the booking without refund and immediate removal from the park.

4 Visitors

  1. All visitors must report to reception upon arrival.
  2. Visitors may be required to provide photographic identification.
  3. Visitors must comply with all park rules and policies.
  4. Visitors remain the responsibility of the guest they are visiting.
  5. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any visitor.
  6. Unauthorised visitors may be removed immediately from the park.

5 Fire safety policy

The safety of guests, staff, wildlife and park facilities is paramount.

  1. Open fires are strictly prohibited anywhere on the park grounds.
  2. Guests must not create, dig or construct fire pits on any pitch, grassed area, woodland area, roadway or open space.
  3. Fires are only permitted within designated fire pits or authorised fire areas approved by management.
  4. Disposable BBQs must not be placed directly on grass.
  5. Fire pits must never be left unattended.
  6. The burning of rubbish, waste materials, plastics, treated timber or hazardous materials is prohibited.
  7. Fireworks, Chinese lanterns, flares and explosives are strictly prohibited.
  8. Any person causing damage through fire, embers, heat or negligence shall be fully liable for all associated costs.
  9. Any breach of this section may result in immediate eviction without refund.
  10. Serious breaches may be reported to the Police and Fire Service and may result in prosecution.

6 Noise & conduct

  1. Quiet hours operate between 10:00pm and 8:00am.
  2. Music, televisions and social gatherings must not disturb other guests.
  3. Offensive language, abusive behaviour, threatening conduct, intimidation or harassment will not be tolerated.
  4. Ball games are only permitted in designated areas.
  5. Drones are prohibited without prior written permission from management.
  6. Management's decision regarding nuisance or disturbance shall be final.

7 Vehicles

  1. The park speed limit is 5 mph.
  2. Dangerous or careless driving is strictly prohibited.
  3. Vehicles must only be parked in designated areas.
  4. Vehicle repairs and maintenance are not permitted without management approval.
  5. Vehicles must be taxed, insured and roadworthy where required by law.

8 Children

  1. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.
  2. Children must not be left unattended anywhere on the park.
  3. Children must be supervised around roads, lakes, fishing areas, swimming pools and recreational facilities.
  4. Management accepts no responsibility for accidents involving unsupervised children.

9 Facilities & recreational areas

  1. All facilities are used entirely at the user's own risk.
  2. Guests must comply with any facility-specific rules displayed on site.
  3. Children must be supervised at all times.
  4. Management reserves the right to close facilities without notice.
  5. Dangerous, reckless or irresponsible use of facilities is prohibited.

10 Pet policy

  1. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
  2. Dogs must remain on a lead at all times.
  3. Dogs must not be left unattended.
  4. Owners must clean up after their pets immediately.
  5. Dog waste must be disposed of responsibly.
  6. Excessive barking or nuisance behaviour will not be tolerated.
  7. Aggressive or dangerous dogs must be removed immediately upon request.
  8. Pets are not permitted in restricted areas designated by management.
  9. Pet owners are fully responsible for any injury, damage or nuisance caused by their animals.
  10. Failure to comply with the Pet Policy may result in removal from the park without refund.

11 Waste & environment

  1. All rubbish must be disposed of in designated waste facilities.
  2. Recycling facilities must be used where provided.
  3. Chemical toilet waste must only be disposed of at designated disposal points.
  4. Waste water must not be discharged onto the ground.
  5. Littering is prohibited.
  6. Damage to trees, wildlife, lakes, landscaping or park property is prohibited.

12 Security

  1. Barriers, gates, locks, CCTV systems and security equipment must not be tampered with.
  2. Guests must report suspicious behaviour immediately.
  3. CCTV operates throughout the park for safety, security and crime prevention purposes.
  4. Management reserves the right to share evidence with law enforcement agencies where appropriate.

13 Health & safety

  1. Guests must comply with all health and safety instructions.
  2. Emergency routes and access roads must remain clear at all times.
  3. Dangerous substances, hazardous materials and illegal items are prohibited.
  4. Generators may only be used with prior written permission from management.
  5. In an emergency, all instructions given by management or emergency services must be followed immediately.

14 Drugs, alcohol & drink driving policy

Adgestone Camping & Touring Park operates a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs, drug-related activity and drink or drug driving. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Possession, use, supply, production or distribution of illegal drugs.
  • Being under the influence of illegal drugs whilst on the park.
  • Drug-related anti-social behaviour.
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia associated with illegal drug use.
  • Driving any vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Operating electric scooters, bicycles, golf buggies, quad bikes or any motorised vehicle whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Consumption of alcohol that results in nuisance, disorderly conduct, aggressive behaviour or risk to others.

Any person suspected of involvement in illegal drug activity or drink or drug driving may be:

  • Immediately removed from the park without refund.
  • Reported to the Police.
  • Refused future access to the park.
  • Subject to a permanent ban from Adgestone Camping & Touring Park and associated parks.

Management reserves the right to contact the Police immediately where illegal substances, criminal activity or suspected drink or drug driving is identified. No warnings are required before enforcement action is taken.

15 Damage, liability & enforcement

  1. Any person causing damage to park property, facilities, utilities, landscaping, pitches, equipment or infrastructure shall be fully liable for all associated costs.
  2. The lead booker is responsible for damage caused by members of their party or visitors.
  3. Charges may include repairs, replacement costs, professional cleaning, loss of income, administration costs, legal fees and security costs.
  4. Deliberate damage, vandalism, theft, fraud, criminal damage or trespass will be reported to the Police.
  5. The park reserves the right to pursue civil recovery, financial penalties and legal action where appropriate.
  6. Any person tampering with electrical systems, water supplies, gas installations, barriers, CCTV, security equipment or park infrastructure may be removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.

16 Unacceptable conduct policy

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Reckless, irresponsible or dangerous behaviour.
  • Behaviour likely to cause alarm, distress, nuisance or offence.
  • Intimidation, bullying, harassment or threatening conduct.
  • Verbal abuse towards guests, staff, contractors or visitors.
  • Aggressive, confrontational or disorderly behaviour.
  • Excessive alcohol-related behaviour.
  • Criminal activity of any nature.
  • Vandalism, graffiti or malicious damage.
  • Tampering with utilities, barriers, CCTV, security systems or park infrastructure.
  • Dangerous driving or misuse of vehicles.
  • Entering restricted or staff-only areas.
  • Any behaviour that places persons, property, wildlife or the environment at risk.

Management reserves the absolute right to remove any person, vehicle, caravan, motorhome, tent or property from the park without notice and without refund. A permanent ban may be imposed on any individual, family, group or associated party found to have breached these rules.

17 Zero tolerance policy

Adgestone Camping & Touring Park operates a strict zero-tolerance policy towards:

  • Violence or threats of violence.
  • Abuse towards staff, contractors or guests.
  • Harassment, intimidation or bullying.
  • Illegal drugs or drug-related activity.
  • Drink driving or drug driving.
  • Criminal behaviour.
  • Theft or vandalism.
  • Dangerous driving.
  • Anti-social behaviour.
  • Fire safety breaches.
  • Deliberate damage to park property.
  • Any behaviour that threatens the safety, wellbeing or enjoyment of others.

Ground fires, unauthorised fire pits, deliberate damage to grassed areas and fire-related breaches of park rules are treated as serious offences. Any such behaviour may result in:

  • Immediate eviction without refund.
  • Recovery of all losses, damages and costs.
  • Permanent exclusion from the park.
  • Civil proceedings.
  • Criminal prosecution.
  • Reporting to the Police, Fire Service or other relevant authorities.

18 Management rights

  1. Management reserves the right to amend these rules at any time.
  2. Management decisions are final.
  3. Any guest, visitor or occupier who breaches these rules may be required to leave immediately without refund.
  4. Serious breaches may result in a permanent ban from Adgestone Camping & Touring Park and any associated parks.
  5. Entry onto the park constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions, Park Rules and Pet Policy.
